Synopsis: KENZA, who has just graduated from the police academy, is assigned to the police station of a small isolated town in the Atlas mountains, despite her good results.
Amidst her misogynistic and unwilling colleagues, Kenza learns, to everyone's indifference, that some shepherds' children have gone missing...

Sofia Alaoui
Born in Casablanca, Sofia spent her childhood between Morocco and China. After studying in Paris, she moved to Casablanca in 2015 and has directed both documentaries: Les enfants de Naplouse, Les vagues ou rien and fictions: Cinderella's Dream and Kenza des Choux. His latest short Qu'importe si les bêtes meurent won the Grand Prix du Jury at Sundance 2020, the Syndicat Français de la Critique de Cinéma prize and the Prix du Jury at Paris Courts Devant 2021, and the César 2021 for short film. After shooting a commissioned short as part of a genre series for Hulu, she went on to direct her first feature film, Parmi nous, produced by Wrong Film and Srab films in France, and currently in post-production.
