Synopsis: On one hand, there’s Iris, who dreams of other people’s lives rather than living her own. On the other, there’s Laure, who travels to forget that she doesn’t know where to go. And then they meet one evening in northern Italy.

Colombe Rubini

Colombe Rubini is a graduate of ECAL. In 2019, she directed Beneath the Scales, her graduation short film, which was selected for several film festivals (Belfort, the Solothurn Film Festival, Côté Court, etc.). In 2020, she directed Rehearsals, a documentary about two young female conductors, produced by Les Films du Worso, which has been selected for and won awards at several film festivals. In addition to her work as a director, Colombe Rubini works as a script supervisor on short films. I have to be somewhere, after all is his first produced short film.
