Alexis Diop

Alexis Diop studied film theory at the Université Paris 3-Sorbonne Nouvelle. In 2019, his video UPCYCLING TEMARI is exhibited at the contemporary art center La Panacée, Montpellier. His medium-length film AVANT TIM, starring Françoise Lebrun and Pauline Lorillard, wins the Grand Prix Contrebande at the FIFIB and is broadcast on Mubi France and at the Cinémathèque française in 2021. Alexis has just completed his new film, ADIEU EMILE, produced by Barney Production and Remembers, and is currently developing his first feature as part of the Atelier scénario at Fémis. Alongside his directing activities, he works as a production manager and assistant director with filmmakers such as Bertrand Bonello, Mati Diop and Nadav Lapid.
