Faouzi Bensaïdi

A theater director and actor, Faouzi Bensaïdi directed his first multi-award-winning short film in 1997, La Falaise. He then co-wrote Far away with André Téchiné. In 2000, he directed two short films: The Wallpresented at the Fortnight and Journeyswhich won an award at the Venice Film Festival. His first feature film, A thousand monthsreceived the Prix Le premier regard and De la jeunesse at Un Certain Regard. Next up: WWW - What a Wonderful World at the Venice Mostra, and Death for sale, Art and Essay Award at the Berlinale.
