Adriana Soreil
Crossroads is the second short film to be directed by Adriana Soreil, who graduated in scriptwriting from La Fémis in 2012. In 2018, her first short film, a drama called Pompon Girl, also produced by Barney Production, had a successful run at the festivals and was shown at the Brest European Short Film Festival, the Cabourg Film Festival, the Thessaloniki International Short Film Festival and the International Festival of Francophone Cinema in Acadia. As well as making these personal films, exploring the themes of femininity and motherhood, Adriana writes scripts for live-action films and animations. She was a scriptwriter for Kaboul Kitchen on Canal+, has co-written episodes for the mini-series Pigeons & Dragons and Tout est vrai (ou Presque) on Arte, and regularly collaborates with France Télévisions (on cult series Lastman, mini-series La Petite Mort, and Margot & le Robot, a 26′ animation for 6 to 10-year-olds).
