Xavier Sirven

Born in 1980, Xavier Sirven studied engineering at the Compiègne University of Technology where he specialized in cultural industries under the direction of philosopher Bernard Stiegler. He then worked as a hypermedia project manager at IRCAM (Acoustic Music Research Institute based in Paris) and then at the Center Pompidou (National Center of Art and Culture). Alongside these activities, he is pursuing an acting job started with the theatrical research company of Emmanuel Ostrovski. In 2007 he joined the editing department of the Fémis which he graduated in June 2011. In parallel with his work editor, he is committed to staging. Not K.O. is his second short film made since the end of his studies.
